Our Langkawi weekend Gateway!

A week ago we headed to Langkawi. We got promo tickets from Tiger Airways cost SG$ 200 for both return. Either expensive or no but I think it was a good price consider we leave friday and return sunday. After all work stuff done we went to Changi Airport 1 hour before. Flight on-time and smooth around 1.5 hours to Langkawi from Singapore.
Arrived at the airport we used a taxi to the hotel cost RM 20 (fixed price). We stayed at Chenang Inn, located in the Chenang beach area for 2 nights cost RM 260. For dinner we went to the ORKID RIA one of famous Seafood Restaurant in Langkawi (base on my research). It was totally full during dinner time and the food was so delicious!! Very recommended place to visit in Langkawi, my suggestion try king prawn, butter prawn , black paper crab😍😍 Langkawi Day 1: Today we rent small car cost RM 80/day. We wanted to rent a motorbike but we don't have motorbike license!tooo bad!Early morning we prepared our stuff to go SKYTREX ADVENTURE. What it SkyTrex? You can check on www.skytrex-adventure.com. I've bought our tickets online before go to Langkawi. SkyTrex is one of tourist attractions. We took EXTREME ISLAND ADVANCE trail and it was amazing! The challanges were really exciting, especially for me who never did outbound before! That morning our instructor was very helpful and friendly his named is Jay or Rey. For almost 2 hours we stayed it was amazing experience for both of us because from this experience we never know our limit until we tried! 😊
Our next destination was Skycab Langkawi. Same like Skytrex, I bought tickets before we came here by online. There was a drama when i bought the tickets but eventually all is well! The tickets cost SG$ 31 for 2 tickets. Because long-weekend the queue was really bad! But we don't have other option 😂 For your information, you can check Skycab website www.panoramalangkawi.com. We were queued for almost 1.5 hours to go to the top of the hill and when we arrived at the top it was foggy and windy, was really bad but but but we waited around 15mins and finally the fog goes away and we can see the view from the top! SUPER 😍😍
Langkawi Day 2:
At 9 am we were ready to go for island hopping. A van picked us and drop us in the pier. It was cloudy but rain didn't come yet. The first island we visited was pregnant ladies island, from far away the island looks like a sleeping woman with a big stomach like she was "pregnant" . Inside this island there was a freshwater lake called the "lake of pregnant maiden". The legend said that long time ago there was a man named Met Teja met a princess Mambang cider. They felt in love and born a baby boy from the princess, but the child was passed away and parents drown the child body into the lake. Local people believe if we drink water from this lake it will give fertility to the couple who wants child, because the lake has been blessed by the princess, DO you believe it?Well All depends 😊😊
The boat driver gave us 1 hour to stay on the island, after that we continued the trip to Pulau Singa Besar. The island was full of eagles! The boat just stopped for 10 minutes next to the island, we cannot stay in the island nobody does it was because the security reason I think.
The last island we visited was BERAS BASAH Island. It was famous island with white sands and clear blue water. The water was very clear and blue even-though it was cloudy day! The boat driver said we can see dolphin in this area but unfortunately we didn't see one of those cute dolphins 😭
We return to the hotel and guess what? Rain came so hard we were so lucky! We clean our self and went massage in Baron SPA & Wellness. Cost RM 75/person and it was worth it!
Well its wrap! Our weekend gateway was successful! So that's my Langkawi story, next month I will come with Nico to Thailand! And of course I will review my trip!! Stay tune and don't forget to read my next post! BTW Thanks for stop by Hope will be helpful for you guys!
